Description
Ground nutmeg is the dried, brown seed of the fruit of an evergreen tree of the nutmeg family. It originates from the East and West Indies. The ground product will have a dull brown color, sweet flavor and slightly bitter and aromatic undertone. It is used in a variety of ethnic cuisines, both sweet and savory.
